Training for Transformation (TFT) 2011 - 2012

Training for Transformation (TFT) was introduced into Ireland in the 1980s. The programme is essentially about enabling people to work effectively together on issues relevant to their local community. Elements of the training include: Personal development and trust building
  • Group work skills
  • Skills in understanding and working with people in the community
  • Organisational development skills
The programme has been used widely in Ireland for community development purposes. It works with both professional people and volunteers.

Course details: 
The Training for Transformation course itself will be commencing in Galway on the following dates: October 14th& 15th, November 11th & 12th, December 2nd & 3rd, January 13th & 14th, February 10th & 11th and March 9th & 10th. Friday evening from 7.30pm to 10.00pm and Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm.
 
Who Should Attend: 
Training for Transformation is open to all people and is aimed in particular volunteers, Sport organisations, Church groups, Family Resource Centres, Youth workers, refugees and Community leaders.
 
How to Register: 
Two information / registration sessions will be held onTuesday 6th of September at 11.00a.m. in the morning and another session at 7.00p.m in the evening. For more information, please contact 091 895203
